One day visit to Boston from NYC
Don’t miss the opportunity to spend a day visiting one of the most historic cities in the United States: Boston, and on your way back to New York, making a stop at the ultimate shopping destination: The Woodbury Commons Premium Outlets.
Your day will begin at 4:30 am at Times Square where you will meet your guide and board a comfortable motorcoach. After an approximate 4.5 hrs drive you will arrive to one of the oldest cities in the United States.
Founded in 1630, Boston was the scene of several key events of the American Revolution. Your first stop will be at Harvard University, the oldest institution of higher learning in the United States, where your tour guide will lead you on a short walk through the institution. The next stop will be at the Boston Common, the first public park in the United States. From there you will be guided through several historic sites included on the Freedom Trail. Your will learn the history and significance of places such as the Massachusetts State House on BeaconStreet, Granary Burying ground, King’s Chapel. Old State House, Boston Massacre Site and the Old North Church.
The Boston tour will end with free time to explore, shop and have lunch at Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market.
